The Chamber of Commerce is an association of business people that promote the interest of its members and of business in general.  The Chamber of Commerce also encourages new business into the area to help support the welfare of the community.

The Chamber provides an opportunity for those people who create local jobs and drive the local economy to work with government and the public to build a better community.  The community Chamber works closely with the state and local governments.  The Lilydale Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) acts as an umbrella organization to lobby the local government on issues of mutual concern to all businesses.  The chamber speaks for the business community at public hearings, to the media and behind closed doors. They are the voice of business.
